Casa del Fattore

The project covers the sustainable restoration, applying the environmental sustainability protocol GBC-HB, and the re-functionalisation of the “Casa del Fattore”, located inside the Rocca Rangoni complex in Spilamberto. The reuse involves the realisation of multi-purpose spaces for professional training and conference rooms with a public vinegar cellar and wine shop.

The structural project included the consolidation of the wooden floors, the insertion of steel floor and roof trusses, metal hoops to reinforce the walls in correspondence with the openings, the consolidation of the masonry with fibre reinforced plaster, the construction of reinforced concrete curbs to connect to the existing foundations and the design of an external metal spiral staircase.
